That sounds like a female casting an illusion spell in BG1. Greenish orb a bit like abjuration spells/

- presie valiah vero
Alteration spell. White with blue outline.

- inventus pultah inverio
Invocation/evocation. Though I thought it more like insertus pulcum imperium. Pretty red colors.

- insertus lugipt dyptio
What?

What an irrelevant post.. but I can't not answer a question, tis against my nature..

My guess is the devs told the speaker people to babble whatever came to their mind, and they recorded it. E-Z spell sound.

They`re foreign languages; mostly latin I think. They mean something relavant to the spell they cast (for example, for the cure spells it translates as "heal, heal, heal")

There was a post in the BG:2 forum a while back about this ... They gave all the correct translations,.. indeed mostly latin words, not very grammatically correct all the time though IIRC. Anywayz, the wordings DO make sense and the people back then didnt seem to consider the post irrelevant, its a solid question. Just pray the search function ever gets back up and then you can search the BG:2 forum for the post :D

Yes, it is latin, although it is badly mispronounced: vowels are all wrong, some other sounds are all messed up and grammar has been simply forgotten. I can recognize latin, though, and I will post what I can understand - I just need to look up a couple of things in the Latin-Italian dictionary.

Right now I am sure about:

Veritas vedo Oculos (should be oculis)=
(I can see the truth with my eyes). [Divination spells?]

Other will come this evening (GMT +1).
