Well do you? Personally I just can't decide but it will be interesting to see other people's opinion on this!
|
I can't really answer this question. I didn't support the invasion or the start of the war, but now that it has started I don't want it to end until Saddham is removed. Basically there is no point stopping it now until Saddham is removed. If it is stopped the lives lost would be just wasted plus we would have to do this again in another 10 years.

I support the troops not the war.
|
I agree with pritchke completely, no need to stop now.

So do I So I voted 'not sure'.

Well, I support the "decapitation" and "eradication" of Saddam and the regime he rules. I dont wish for death on any troops or civilians on either side. But it is war. In a 100 years, look back and see history. We helped a nation liberate and become a democracy for their own evolution and success. War is necessary, always has, always will be. We are just seeing it live these days. Imagine how the media would have been like (and the hippies) if we watched VietNam live, as it happened, criticizing every move the army made, like we were the generals. OK,OK, I will shut up now. I have avoided these war forums up till now. I won't tarnish my rep. on GD with my babbling. Sorry.

I totally hate war, and most of the world leaders involved right now...

this war is necessary... It should have been taken care of twelve years ago but since George Bush Sr. was not the most intellegent man, we have to go back. Hopefully it will be over quickly and painlessy but war must be waged. War isnt only helping them become free, but its stimulating our economny and helping all the unemployed find a job. ALSO... they wont become a democracy because democracies suck (and the US is NOT a democracy, it is a republic)

I don't support the war. I don't support a war. Anyone who starts a war is a criminal. There are some cases (such is a very oppressive regime) when battle is necessary and justified, but this is not such a case. Don't be fooled. This is purely a war for oil. Iraq and a few other countries decided not to sell the oil to America (and they have the right to do that, if they want), and White House got angry. It is a known fact that Iraqi oil sources are amongst the richest in the world, they have oil for approximately 110 years. A cake worth warring.
And if it wasn't bad enough, the web, newspapers and TV are fool of photos of dead civilians and destroyed cities. With what right can you say that this war is a favor to Iraqi people? And war is almost over now. Good news. |
