Abe Lincholn (if that's how you spell his name) said "To test a man's character, give him power." This post is to see what the people here at IW would do if they were left in charge of their homelands. Here's what I'd do as Prime Minister:

-Pump LOADS of money into the Justice/Security Budget thingies.

-Make Animal Cruelty punishable by the chair. (The Electric Chair, you tool!)

-Pass a bill that would quadruple the bail, fine, and jail time of every convicted child molester.

-Boldy go where no Politician has gone before! (I'm gonna keep my promises.)

So, what would YOU do with the political power of your homeland?

Who here has been to NationStates? That's a lot of fun, though it gets old after a few weeks...
This is a difficult question. Are we assuming that we can shape the government in our own image, or that we're taking control of an existing government? Does it have to be mine? Because I'd really prefer England's method of government over America's... But I would pump more money to education, research to find alternate energy sources, and medicine, and I would probably have to tax corporations and the rich a little bit more.

- amend constitution so that I'll become the Emperor for life.
- outlaw all political parties.
- jail or execute all political figures or anybody that dare to disagree with me.
- declare martial law.
- expand the military budget to cover 90% of the country's budget.
- build nukes and other weapon of mass destruction.
- withraw membership from the UN, since it's nothing but talk talk talk but no action one.
- lastly, prepare for world domination.

World leader? I would work for greater good of my followers and/or worshippers, and I would try to be as democratic as I could be.
