I'm trying to watch "Crusade" the spin off from Babylon 5. I get this message:
Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer. Anybody know where I can get a plugin for this or use a different player? I just ran Windows update. |
You're getting that message because Windows is unable to play a DVD without installing 3rd-party software (the decoder in this case).
Usually you would get a programme that included a decoder with your DVD drive (Power DVD seems to be quite standard). You can view a list of free alternatives here. If, on the other hand, this is the only DVD that doesn't work, you have a more serious problem ;) [ 08-15-2006, 07:48 PM: Message edited by: shamrock_uk ] |
I just reinstalled everything a month ago but didn't put the software for the DVD. I thought windows had everything. I'll check your list. My DVD player is a few years old.

I downloaded PowerDVD and it worked!
I guess, Set - Egyptian God of Chaos has more knowledge that Anubis. :( |
