Ive been seeing a lot about how to defeat kangaxx and have come across some of the lichs from the quest that need killing along the way but cant find out how to start the quest in the first place. Any pointers would be greatfully recieved

You may start the quest, may go from the middle, this hardly matters. But, from the gameplay's point of view, it's better to start from the very beginning. All right, here is your

In the basement of a building between Sea's Bounty and Mae'Var's headquarters in dock district (has some Minotaurs inside) there is a tomb, which holds Kangaxx himself. Go there and open the tomb, and voila! the quest begins ;)

Ok, starting from the beginning, there is a house in the docks district that isn't labeled. The house is beside the other thief guild(Renal's enemy's place) and the door is locked and trapped. If u have the Sola Mod installed in the house should be 2 liches, a dwarven fighter and 1~2 fighters. After taking them out, u go down the stairs and u'll find urself in a room with a tomb in the middle. Go and click on the tomb and the lich talkes to u, accept his quest about collecting his body parts and u've gotten urself the quest! U could also ingnore the lich in the tomb from the start and get the parts first(that's what I did) By the way, WELCOME TO IRONWORKS!!!

yep! that's how it all begin. you will find a part of his body when you do the the cult of the eye quest! good luck!
