Saw this movie some time ago don't even remember it pretty well.

Ok this will be *pretty* vague, sorry...

It's a kid/family/comedy movie. These 2 little girls leave home, and then there is this couple they find who pretends to be santa and the elf. ummm... there was something or the other about winning the lottery. This (good) guy who is a truck driver or something who picks them up...

Ok I know this is not much to go upon, but someone who's seen the movie might recognize it and give me the title.

And I just remembered there was also this scene where this horse (pony?) which is tied and goes around in circles for kids to ride on it, then after it is freed and it keeps going in circles.

That sounds like "Passion of the Christ". I am almost certain.

Okay, maybe not. But, it does sound vaguely familiar, like some 80's movie I watched. Now I too am curious.

The movie is To Grandmother's House We Go. The two little girls are the Olsen twins.

But i have to agree with that, i could use another avatar, this one is starting to give me bad dreams.

That's probably why I haven't posted much since my return; I'm so subconsciously terrified of getting that avatar that I'm doing anything I can to delay the inevitable. ;)

Seriously, though, that thing is so ugly you have to laugh to keep from throwing up.
