Ummm. Okay, slightly bored but in doing so decided to test my photoshop skills once again. So taddaaa
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y31.../tigerlay1.jpg Advice, comments and hints would be nice please . This is the second Picture Ive ever done with photoshop I believe. The first one is in my sig :D |
its okay,
It seems to me all you did was copy past alot of pictures, align and use a capacity change... unless you drew that in the middle yourself, can't say much more about it... looks nice though |
Can't comment about the photoshop skills (as i have none) but the theme seems odd. Trying to portray the "ferocious" element for the dude might be better achieved without the kittens. They cute though. ;)

I don't like the white borderlines at the side... also the right part has a black borderline at the bottom which seems to stand out.
EDIT: Right. I mean the thin black borderline at the bottom of the right part. [ 04-06-2007, 06:51 AM: Message edited by: ZFR ] |
It's pretty cool. I have no Photoshop skill either, Grasshopper. As to the kitten, if you've ever had one, you know, they think they are ferocious...

Thanks for the useful comments and advice
ZFR: I am trying to figure out the left picture black line you are talking about. Unless I am mistaken to what your pointing out, that is his hair. As for the white borders, This is the result of the invert selection I have used. I had a difficult time trying to copy that image from the original photo which as you can see below this post. Any suggestions on how to achieve a better cut without the white borders? To Spirits: Yes I am testing my skills mostly in cutting and paste before drawing. I have added some special affects and a not so noticable use of Clone Stamp tool to extend his limbs abit . I know my skills in drawing is beginner but using existing images and cutting, improving and pasteing, I am hoping to make a nice picture (which Im glad you liked). I only used 3 photoes. 2 of them you can see below. To server and Robert . Thanks, once I saw the kitten, I really had to put it in :D . Ferocious Tiger and cuteness, I thought was a cute mix. To be honest the inspiration of this picture was from my girlfriend. She is a tiger ;) . On another note: that Red Symbol and the character down below was from the Anime Shadow Skill. Im a fan of Gau Ban. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y31...screenie-1.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y31...ar/SKILL9L.jpg [ 04-06-2007, 06:15 AM: Message edited by: Harkoliar ] |
No, it's the thin borderline at the bottom. It doesn't stand out in the left and middle section but does so in the right...
EDIT: Oh, I see I wrote left instead of right in my previous post |
ah i see it ;) . pretty small :D but thanks for the heads up
|
Ah, well for cutting and pasting , theres a nifty thing that you might want to play around with that'll make your things look less like copy pasted
when you select a section, right click and you should get an option called Feather. play around with that, as it blurs the sides so it looks softer. Playing around with various perspectives are fun too. Cut the picture in a perspective method, et.c :D |
Looks pretty good, 'cept that the energy-shockwave-thing from the kick looks a bit cut.
