For those of you who read BC, I guess you've heard Johnny Hart died this week end. Zot!

He will be missed, both for B.C. and The Wizard of Id. Died at his drawing table, alas.

I didn't hear of this, but damn.

He was one of the reasons I opened the sunday paper. D:

His wife said the strip will continue, but it wont be the same.

Yea. That it won't be.

I don't think it should continue, because I'm afraid it just won't be the same anymore.

Apparently, family and friends have been assisting him with the strip for the last couple of years, so it will be able to continue on in much the same way. They've apparently also got some preliminary plans that he'd had for a few things.

Needless to say, though, it is sad when someone passes on who brought a smile to the face of so many. Not every time, but often enough.
