I finally decided to give IE7 a try to see how it goes.

Is there a way to have the menu bar above the adress bar. I tried unlocking the toolbars and moving them, but the address bar seems to be immovable.

Is there a way to export bookmarks from firefox 1 into IE7?

Well, in case someone wants to do it too, I found on the internet a way to move the menu bar above the adress bar:

Quote:

1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsof t\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser
Note If the WebBrowser key does not exist, you must create it. To do this, follow these steps:

a. Right-click Toolbar, point to New, and then click Key.
b. In the New Key #1 box, type WebBrowser, and then press ENTER.

3. Right-click WebBrowser, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
4. In the New Value #1 box, type ITBar7Position, and then press ENTER.
5. Right-click ITBar7Position, and then click Modify.
6. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
7. Exit Registry Editor, and then start Internet Explorer 7.

Warning: Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
