I have just swapped from aerie to edwin in my group, but he is lacking in spells, i have been to waukeens promenade spell shop and bought from there.
But where are other good places to get some of the later level spells.

I need finger of death, Stoneskin or ironskin.

Any other really destructive spells or summons would be appreciated!

Any suggestions.

Im in chapter 2, done most for the quest but have loads of money and i want to stock up on spells for the next chapter.

Ironskin is a druidspell so that is going to be a though one: ;) There is another guy in waukeens promenad above the two inns that sells low level spells.

Try a lady merchant (forgot her name) in the back of Adventurer's Mart. She has some spells.

Also, scrolls are distributed all over the game. Be absolutely sure to examine every container you encounter. Being still in ch2 myself, I have found Cacofiend and FoD scrolls.

Ironskin is a clerical spell, so do not bother looking for it.

So where can i get the druid spell ironskin from then?
Where can i find stoneskin?

Druids do not gain spells from scrolls, they gain them while levelling, and you have to legal way of changing the list of spells you have access to.

1. Another place for buying spells: Trademeet. You can buy some useful spells, which you cannot buy in Akathla, there.
2. Many level 5 and higher level spells cannot be bought at all. Some of them are fixed treasure somewhere, lot of them are RANDOM treasure almost anywhere in the game.
3. Priest-like classes (priest, druid, ranger) do not learn spells from scrolls. They gain next level spells whenever they reached the appropriate character level. You can find a few "priest scrolls" in the game, but:
a) You cannot learn spells from them.
b) Only a priest-like class can use them. Other classes can not.
4. The "green" scrolls:
a) No class can learn spells from them.
b) Every class can use them.

Minor correction - green scrolls have INT requirements. Minsk was not able to use Protection From Magic - low INt, it said... Probably he was trying to eat it instead of read it...

the barkeep in Copper Coronet sells lots of high level summons...

Green scrolls as well as wands of Magic Missiles requires and intellegence of at least 10 of the user.

Also class specific wands/staves requires intelligence to use. I wasn't able to use a Wand of the Heavens with my INT 6 orcish cleric.
