Well Well after reading some interresting stuff about what I´ll find inside Aran Linnvals safe I´m inclined to say WOW...Ring of Djinii summoning sounds pretty cool...but I don´t need the katana!

Is there ANY way to get into that safe without having Aran and his goons creeping out on me...he´s always there so it might be difficult

If you *are* working for the Rival Guild already; it is meant to be hard- it`s their final quest for you, after all.

If you`re working for the Rival Guild, and you keep getting killed by a guy called "Arkansis Gath" in 1 hit; make sure you have to latest patches (see under the bugfixes heading in this thread. I think it is the Baldurdash fixpack that fixes that bug [img]smile.gif[/img] </font>

NO cheating since I´m soloing...the only cheat I allowed myself was to get a bag of holding when I finished first lvl of Watchers keep...I needed to do something hard before I could get it! :D
Well thats just a shame...what if I break into the safe after I´ve done every quest for Aran...I mean if I take thgesafe just before running down to Saemon...or does Arkanis spawn and jug me in the head with that Killsword of his

<font color="gold">I'm not sure if this works, but if you're a Mage or Sorcerer, you can return in higher levels, cast Time Stop, Knock the lock open, and take the ring.
By that time, though, your lust for it probably isn't so big. ;) </font>

Try Charming Aran Linvail and make him open the lock.
Or cast Sanctuary and then try to open the lock.
The list goes on and on... :D </font>

Well I know when you come back from the underdark and after you kill Bodhi you can go and kill him then. But like Exxon said you probaly will not be so keen to get it.

But then again you are playing a solo PC and any summon is worth having.
