I dont know if my kensai should use katanas or 2handed swords. He is going to be a pure kensai if that helps. I have heard that there are some mean 2 handers but would these be better or say the celestial fury? Thanks

Katana.
Mainly because you can get a higher enchantment level (=hit more powerful monsters) in Katana than two-handed sword, unless you`re a Paladin, in which case they would be exactly the same. |
Hmmmm? The highest level enchanted Katana in SoA is +3, while the highest level enchanted non-Paladin-only Two-Handed Sword is +4.
|
Go for the Katanas. When starting a character put points on 2 weapons and katanas only and you will be unstoppable.

I would go for Two-Handed Sword, especially if you have ToB. As Dundee already said, the highest enchanted Two-Handed Sword, non-Paladin, is +4 (+5 in ToB), while Katana only is +3 (also +5 in ToB).
T-HS is also much cooler, IMO. |

There is a +4 katana in ToB, but THAT is the highest level enchantment. I prefer Gram the Sword of grief over carsomyr, actually *flush* the poison damage and level drain are wonderful.

Exxon, there is no +5 enchanted Katana in ToB even, only a +4 enchanted.
