There's a patch to fix all the bugs edwin has, after the nether-scroll quest is over with, and he's been transformed back to edwin.
The -new- edwin had quite a few bugs, such as the Boots of speed not working in him.

I've been trying to install the patch so that he can use those boots once again, but I installed the patch AFTER he allready completed the entire netherscroll-saga.

No matter what i do, following the readme to the letter as far as i know, he still cant use the boots of speed.
(he can equip them, but they dont work)

Did anyone else install the patch after the nether-quest .. and how did you get the patch to work ?

<font color="lightblue">Get the Sorcerer's Place Fixpack, it works in a slightly different way to Baldurdash, which makes it retroactive.
NOTE: I would only recomend anyone getting this if they NEED a retroactive fix, as it *can* be unstable on some games. Using the Official Patch followed by the Baldurdash Fixpack before you even roll your character is by far preferable. </font>
