Complete the Planar Sphere quest. Talk to the Knights afterwards and tell them that you'll try to help them. A Cowled Wizard will offer you an alliance. Agree and you'll get the Planar Sphere as a stronghold!
Quest 1: Ask the Cowled Wizard to help get the knights back home. Head to the Adventurer's Mart and talk to Ribald. Give him the 9,000 gold for the wizard's time. Return home and the next day, he'll arrive and helps you out. You get a nice reward!

Quest 2: Teos returns with some apprentices for you - Larz, Morul and Nara. They will then offer to make several things for you. To reduce the risk of them dying, have them make the following item: Dagger of "" for 250 gold, scroll of Abi Dalzim's Horrid Wilting (1,000 gold) and tell them to make nothing when it comes to artifacts. This way they'll all survive to graduate, you'll get experience and an apprentice to make you potions (but only when the last quest is finished)!

Quest 3: You'll receive a message to return to the Sphere. Teos will also be there. You'll then be attacked by a magic-hating group. Kill them and Teos will give you a Rune. Take it to the City Gates and enter the Inn (Argrim is on the top floor). Use it on him and then kill his guards. Return to the Sphere for your reward. Morul should then agree to become your permanent potion brewer at this point. He makes several sets of potions (one per week). Just watch out for the Potion of Invulnerability that comes with the Potion of Insight - it's cursed.
