Depends if the music is too loud or not. If it's so loud that you just can't talk to anyone at all without shouting short sentences in their ear then I usually just zone out/get out of my head on drugs...

Man, what is 'any' lifeform but a tight collective of cells? The desire to belong, and the insecurity surrounding it, fades away really fast when you realise that there is nothing separating you from the substance that makes the rest of the universe. The whole world is just a great big swimming blob of stuff, that gels together in different ways. It's impossible to be alone, just as it's impossible to really be yourself. You are your world, and your world is you.
