The thing is this: if you complete quests with the pure and simple motive of getting the most possible reward, chances are you're going to have to be nice to someone along the line. If you do, then that compromises your Evil principles. Worse, you'll usually end up getting a Reputation bonus as well. This makes your Evil Party restless, as they think you're doing good things and they don't like that.

Now, you can be Evil, and aim for the immoral road; but not only will the amount of £££ you get be shafted, you won't get any Rep bonuses, that means items at shops will cost more. All in all, it's a bum rap.

I'm waiting one day for the dedicated Evil Mod that adds in more Evil dialogue, more Evil options for evil players that allows you to claim the lion's share of the cash, turn Imoen into a Neutral Evil character (so having her as your sidekick doesn't feel... weird) and throw in one or two extra NPCs just for fun. I'm trying my own hand at modding... but I'm a cack-handed fool! [img]smile.gif[/img]
