You are in the right cabin, correct? There is some kind of a bloody pulp on the bed?

Now, look all over for a note. If you have ToB, use the TAB key, because if I remember, this particular note is actually on the floor, and pretty easy to miss. Once you read the correct note, it will inform you that your world map has been updated.
