Yeah, the character creator is great fun. The lower levels are where the fun is really. When you hit 50 you have millions of influence and nothing to spend it on except new costumes. You have all you enhancements by 55 and everything SO or special SO.

Cryptic designed CoH like 4 years ago and then re-designed it after 3 years. They had a deadline to meet so released it to the public, unfinished and bare. Statseman admitted this about 2 monmths after release. When I joined the max level was only 40, we had no capes (we got them in an 'update' much later) and there was no end-game at all (there still isn't any). You notice immediately since the NPC's don't even have soundsets like most MMO NPC's do. These guys simply type to you.

The other thing is Cryptic is very stingy with their content. I left 7 months ago and in the 7 months only 1 update was released in my absence. I could return and be bored within a week since there is virtually nothing new. I moved on to WoW for that 7 months and in that time 4 updates have been released for Warcraft and I pay the same price to play.

Bah, I did have fun with it at the time and I do wish you the best, but do see what is out there before you settle as some of the things on the shelvbes today far surpass this game in how streamlined and polished they are.
