If its an immersive experence try Planescape Torment.
It rocks as a game. I played it for hours and hours. (I've only recently sold it to another board member)
If you do get NWN (neverwinter nights) come and play it online with the other board members, you are bound to have a fun time. The platinum edition has just been released (with the original + both expansions)
