Just thought of another +-point for cleric/illusionist...illusionists can't cast necromantic mage spells, but they CAN cast their frequently more powerful priest equivalents, e.g., animate dead.
P.S. I appreciate all of your suggestions...especially Xan's...the Blade always struck me as being infinitessimally cool.
