Ska is only influenced by reggae. Its more like big-band swing music fussed with punk.
No Doubt sucks because they're not really ska so much. Sublime is sort of ska.
What do you listen to. Metal sucks. Rap really sucks. Some Jazz is cool. Punk is the only other genre to come close on a whole.
If you want to listen to ska, try Reel Big Fish, Less than Jake, Catch 22, and Skankin Pickles.
