Ozzi, you overrestimate healing in this game. Sure, it is absolutely needed, but one healer is usually enough, unless you play with an all-warrior party. There are plenty of healing-potions throughout the game, and if your warriors/tanks are given a few of these, the healer will be pretty much useless.
Maybe it is just me, but I always use healers/priests as secondary healers. Potions always works better.
