It seems you ran into a known glitch with the ToB uninstaller, which was fixed in the patch. IIRC, you should be able to run the setup.exe straight from the CD.

If not, run regedit and search for anything related to baldurs gate. Be careful in there. Delete the wrong thing and you can kill your computer in ways that are difficult or impossible to fix. But as long as your careful youll be OK.
