When making this stiry i didnt give a damn about BG1. And "home" happens to be Baldurs gate. And when Imoen comes rescueing you in the start of BG2 she says: "I dont know what happened, all i know is that we were near Baldurs gate and got jumped." And i didnt give a damn about the people who knew me from before (Minsc, Jaheira, Vic, Imoen etc etc.)
