Even if you do cast Prot. from Magic on him, he'll still be a formidable opponent. Dragons have many attacks per round, dealing a respectible amount of damage. Im not sure if dragons can use their innate abilities(dragons breath, wing buffet, dragon fear etc.) while under the influence of Prot. From Magic, but if they can, your in for pretty much the same fight, minus the stoneskin, remove magic and greater malison.
