The dungeon seamlessly ties together BG1 and SoA. It sets up your character's past and the music and lighting eerily set the a gruesome and bleak scene. It's rich in graphic detail and there are many hidden things to discover.
So to answer your question, no, it's really not worth it. Not to me anymore, at least. To you, it probably is, as you've only finished it once. But in general... well... why do you think they invented Dungeon-Be-Gone in the first place?
