I'm keeping the spoiler content low, as I'm a big fan of finding things out for oneself....even the most recent Tactics versions will allow you to open & close
certain doors on the 1st level to your heart's content--providing that you don't screw up your chances of being allowed to do so. (Yes, I'm being very oblique. Sorry.)
