Ah the truly "good" approach.

When I played through this part of the game I was a neutral evil half-drow wild mage, so I didn't much care about helping the Helmites so to speak, I cared about the rewards! Of course, I also didn't care for being manipulated either, so of course I accepted Demogorgon's offer, went out, had a little chat with Orden and snickered as he and his followers ran screaming into the Keep.

Personally, I'd accept the scroll from the Spectre, but choose to enter the Keep. I'd head down, and defeat Demogorgon. I'd do this for a couple reasons - one being the Demogorgon fight is too much of a challenge for me to turn down, and because it's also worth more experience to do it that way.

Simply getting the scroll from the Spectre and using it to seal the Keep gets you 25,000 experience (for accepting the task) and another 80,000 (quest experience) for completing it.

On the other hand, if you accept the task, but opt to enter the Keep, you still get the 25,000 experience, as well as the 100,000 quest experience for defeating Demogorgon (plus any additional exp you got from killing his summoned friends). Additionally, you also get another 20,000 quest experience for speaking to Orden.

Either way, your alignment goes unaltered. From a role-playing point of view, however - either way you're dispensing with the evil Demogorgon, and in fact putting yourself at risk to do so (rather than sit outside the keep and seal it up with a scroll). You could also look at it as attempting to save the miserable knights that sent you down there in the first place.

I suppose that sealing up the Keep is a slightly more wise choice - keeping him imprisoned means he can't someday find his way back into the Prime Material plane (but killing him did banish him from it for quite some time). It's ultimately up to you, but there are a lot of different ways you could role-play this (being good doesn't mean that you always make the wisest choices), and it has no official impact on your alignment in either case.
