I'm still not getting anywhere!
Summoned monsters distract him long enough to hit him with Spellstrike, Ruby Ray, Pierce Magic and Breach. Then I've tried to hit him with magical weapons, ordinary weapons, and assorted offensive magic. Nothing touches him.
