When I followed the Sorc spell guides rigidly, I always used to select 'True Sight.
And I never used it.
Why would I use True Sight? Does Sunfire care if the target is (Improved) Invisible? Does an exploded Abi Dazim's Horrid Wilting suddenly go "Oh no, he's invisible... I can't wilt him!" No, it doesn't. If you are in the vicinity of an area effect spell, you're brown bread, invisible or not. You can't mess around with Abi Dazim.
In the rare instance that you need to lower resistance, you can always do so via stacking it in Chain Contigency.
