IF you can get it, install HoW, now; even if you intend to play through IWD without entering the HoW/TotLM areas. It does so much more than just give you an extra area to explore. I haven't even entered the HoW areas, yet, and I LOVE HoW!! Why? Because it allows you to bump up the screen resolution, which allows you to see the entire battle (no screen jerks) and makes the whole game less claustrophobic. That's worth getting and installing HoW, right there. Don't foget that the alt-key "see anything of interest" is a HoW feature. You get more export slots and character appearance/sound options. Gamepla is rebalanced (presumably for the better). Expo caps removed, (but you knew that). HoF mode gives excellent replay, I am told. Oh, and, of course, the package enables extra adventuring areas of HoW and the free download: TotLM.
