It's mysogynist, not masochist. A masochist is someone who enjoys pain. Mysogynists are woman haters.
As for the lack of halflings in the thieves guild... That just makes no sense. Who would be more profitable than someone who's naturally sneaky, and appears to be little more than a child at first glance?
