No need to BUY a second diamond from Zack. There should be a second diamond on the map where Oswald's ship crashes. Look up in the "rotunda" within Andoora village. There are a number of small holes around the rotunda - use the "alt" key to highlight them - and there is a second diamond in one of those holes (and some other nice treasure too).
