Well, my party now consists of:

Human Fighter(4)/Barbarian(1)
Human Paladin(2)/Cleric(3)
Moon Elf Wizard(5)
Human Rogue(5)

I have made it to the bridge. First time i tried, i got messed up pretty badly(read: all characters killed), and the second time, bridge was destroyed while i talked to that Xuki person(so close!) Third attempt now...
I must say this game takes alot of strategy to survive. Luring enemies to choke points has saved my bacon numerous times, as has the sharing of damage (i.e mage tanks when other characters have low hp) My favorite RPG was BGII, now this one tops the list!
ADD] I usually just charged in with my fighters, i never used to bother with ranged weapons except for my mages/clerics... now every character i use has a bow/xbow/sling. Start battles by having every character pull out their missile weapon and pound on enemy spell casters, THEN charge with tanks. Works rather well i think.
