In a similar fashion to what Tanda described, I used a lot of meteor storm and fire storm spells. When the leprachaun approaches, I have all my spell casters hit him with their biggest spells and then wait until he returns to hit him again. He will stand still momentarily as he hits your group with his spells, and thats when I fire all my spells.
