Dude. Stand at the very beginning of the corridor and hold the shift button while moving forward. This will cause your characters to run and this should get you through the gate. You should also take a moment to read some to the walk throughs. Use it as guide when you get stuck. If I had read this more often I wouldn't have to start the game over for times.
