Normal advice for the "narrow tunnel problem" is to choose your smallest character and wiggle back and forth. Are there any things in the way - fish, dropped items, monsters, etc.? If so, they'll need to be moved before you can enter.
If all of this doesn't work I have two other suggestions:
1) e-mail myself or Wyvern and we can hack you a 2nd tablet, or
2) e-mail either of us your zipped saved game and we'll see if we can enter the trap using our systems
