I think that's the intent of the game makers...there's a "core" story, which we gamers can choose to play through from BG1 all the way til ToB...PC, Imone, Khalid, Jaheira, Minsc and Dynaheir. I originally thought that the team through BG1 should be the team starting SoA, but now...hey, there are some time in between your killing of Saverok and being captured by Irenicus. we can actually go in the final BG battle with different group and later recurit them back. But, it still works/feels better "story wise" if we play through the whole trilogy starting with that roster, and stay with Jaheira, Minsc, and Imone all the way to the end.

I'm doing that now, just got Imone back. Just once, if you do that, it will and may make lots of sense.

too bad I cannot try the BGT mod since my current internet server (school service) doesn't allow me to exceed the usage of 1 GB bandwidth within 24 hours. Can I download the mod separately? like download it bit by bit in three days?
