Thanks for the reply, actually went to game banshee and got the answer, but my only problem was I did not talk to the scrivener when at the proper pillar.
Now, another question. I am in the puzzler room and have lit up the three gargoyles (red, yellow, blue) and turned them towards the lightning door and flipped the lever. They shoot rays at the door but it does not open. The game says "there must be something wrong here", checked on banshee and they said that should work, any ideas.
