It seems like multiclassing the sorcerer or bard to a fighter, but wouldn't the eldritch knight be better for that? I do suppose the stat increases are pretty good... just seems a bit melee-heavy for a prestige class only available to casters. Maybe it would be nice for a bard.
Oh well, goes to show how much I don't know yet. I'm getting the video card today hopefully, we'll see if this noob gets anywhere.
