If robertthebard does take a course at that char building school then I for one am going to stay well out of his way if we have another tounament.
What happened when we had the Kadan/Davis fight was that two very similar character builds met. It was obvious to us both after 30 seconds that there could be no winner.
We put up alternatives and got a result that way but Davis was not defeated.
Similar thing with Timur and Amana. Timur was not defeated but Amana goes through.
What has surprised me is how how even the various builds I've seen so far are. What seems to matter is not the build but how it's played. I am finding it difficult to take the potions, sort the weapon I want, make sure I don't charge someone with acid sheath when I pick a melee weapon etc, etc. while I'm in the fight. If anyone has done pvp regularly and has the knowledge and reflexes to use the right tactics then they have a big advantage.
