I pretty much agree with Dreamer's opinion of Drizzt. He's not a bad character, and he started out great, but his personality kinda got washed out during the Legacy books. I think Salvatore should have been much more subtle with his portrayal of Drizzt. As it is, Drizzt carries no traits of his drow culture at all. I understand that he's supposed to be different from his drow relatives, a shining jewel amist the black heartless drow. But Drizzt is too good. He's freakishly good. I think it's Drizzt's bland personality that turns me off rather than his uber fighting prowess.

Anyway, if you've liked the Drizzt books so far, then reading the rest of them will probably be enjoyable for you. They're not as well done as the first two trilogies, but they're not bad reads imo. Lots of combat [img]smile.gif[/img]
