Are you
sure it was the fake stuff he recieved? Because usually he rejects it, and the high watcher likes the curious shape of the fake, (like an abstact sculpture) and is happy.
P.S, I have done this with a 19 charisma char, I doubt it is. If both the real and fake were present on the group inventory, he may just have taken that instead.
