The axe took another gracefull flight through the air, seeming to stop momenterily in midair before it curled back towards the hand of it's owner. Sighing deeply at the futility of his situation the nefarious Lord Flashheart deftfully caught the blade as it made it's way back round to him.

"This is pathetic... I know what is coming so why don't I just get it over with."

The anti-paladin took another few seconds to stare blankly at the shimmering wall of air in front of him before coming to his decision...

Sitting down on the charred torso of the last robot he had defeated the black knight watched as his other rune axe sailed through the air towards the invisible wall.

"Why am I being such a coward", said the warrior to no-one in particular, "I could get this over in two minuites, make my way out and be back at the bar in time to persaude them all to leave and catch a pint... no worries."

"There is... another way.", said a small voice beside the anti-paladin's head.

Turning to the souce of the noise LF was greated by a 6 inch miniture version of himself, almost identical the only notible differece was the addition of a tiny pair of devils horns and a tiny red trident grasped in it's hands.

"What are you supposed to be?", replied a sceptical LF.

"I am the physical representation of the evil side of your concience... In this your moral dillema it is my duty to, by whatever means necciary, convince you to solve this problem in the most diabolical way you can.", said the tiny specter.

"So if your my evil side where is your counterpart?"

"HERE", said a low disenbodied voice.

Again another tiny figure of LF appeared, this time however the figure was more deamon than human, having only a passing resemblence to the black clad knight.

"I AM YOUR *MORE* EVIL SIDE, HAVING ME INSTEAD OF A GOOD CONCIENCE IS ONE OF THE MANY ADVANTAGES OF HAVING A DEAMON INSIDE OF YOU."

"I don't have a good concience?"

"WELL, YOU *DID* HAVE ONE." , replied the Deamon brushing a few specs of blood and angel feathers off one of it's talons.

"Anyway", cherped the evil LF, " Instead of faking your report, and then sneaking off back to the bar to warn everyone... I suggest faking your report and then detailing the position of the bar to the army of robots who can then hunt down and slaughter the inhabitents of LS's tavern. This way you gain favour with the boss leading to a coushie new job as say... harem manager?"

"EVEN BETTER, LEAD THE ADVENTURERS INTO A TRAP AND THEN KILL THEM YOURSELF. THEN YOU CAN SEVER THEIR HEADS AND PRESENT THEN ON A SILVER PLATTER TO THE BOSS MAN, ALSO IMPRESSING DELPHIE AT THE SAME TIME." The deamon LF looked notably smug as it spoke, giving a little high five with the evil LF as celibration for it's great idea.

"I can't do that, it's wrong... these people have been kind to me and have accepted me with only the smallest amount of animosity and threats of psysical violence. Do you two have any scrupals at all..."

"No", the two specters answered together flatly.

"Whatever you do I suggest you do it soon", said the evil concience, "because look who it is."

A man sized hole suddenly appeared in the shimmering wall in front of the anti-paladin giving a brief glimps at what was behind the clever camoflage. Dressed in a long green robe an elven women strode up to the fighter.

"Hello Flashheart... I though you were dead.", the words were filled with a total lack of emotion.

"Delphie, I knew you were alive... no two bit band of newbie adventerers could keep you down." The knight was figiting nerviouly with his axe hilt, trying to aviod looking directly into the cold unwavering eyes that assailed him.

"Yes... however it did take me another week to find my way out, totally deviod of food and water, or protection from the person who was supposed to be my bodyguard", there was a veneer to the words that made the hairs on LF arms stand up on end, a kind of hidden promise of payback that was so subtle you could hardly detect it, "come on we don't have time to talk my brother wants to know where you have been."

With one whistfull glance back in the rough direction of the bar, the warrior followed her into the opening.
