Liliara cautiously moves from her hidden point against the stone to regain her sense of direction. As she backs away, she looks up the structure which has given her shelter and as it stretches towards the sky and disapears into the clouds, she realizes this must be the tower of which Shade had spoken. She begins thinking of how to get in but her thoughts are turned to Skye. Yes, she is clumsy at times but something about her tells Liliara not to underestimate the girl's ability to take care herself. Liliara's thoughts turn to the painting which her mother had labored over for many years...she remembered her mother taking great pains to be sure each detail was correct and the sadness of the wild elf. The noble look on the face of the human man that she painted, each intricate detail of the sword. Liliara remembered the image of her father that her mother had created well. She kept it in her memory for the day they would meet...then...she could have her revenge! She turned toward the tower, her resolution burning within!
But Skye! She could not leave her! She retraced her steps and began to see a dim light growing stronger as she approached. The light peaked at the edge of a hole and Liliara peared down into it... "Skye?"
Perhaps she was close....

And you never did think that it ever would happen again, in America did you? And you never did think that we'd ever get together again, but we damn sure fooled ya. We're walkin' real proud and we're talkin' real loud again, in America. And you never did think that it ever would happen again.... (Charlie Daniels)
