Considering that I prefer draging around a harem, yes, the all-female (or all-but-me-female) party is a very agreeable idea.
One of my most fun and effective groups was:
Me (Elven Fighter/Mage)
Aerie
Jaheira
Imoen
Jaheira is an effective fighter once you overcome her lame weapon selection and low strength.
Dundee: The fact that every party member packed spells AND could cast Stoneskins (or Ironskins) really rocked.
