Zyaevl looked surprised, "Nothing is wrong Mother" she said, and sitting up, held out her arms, wanting to be taken into the Drow's own. Shyly, she said, "You used to hold me in your lap... as a sword I mean." she paused, "Whats that?" she asked, meaning the amulet. Taking it from Alliene, she held it in her fingers, and looking thoughtful continued "It... has a magical aura, Mother. I wonder... perhaps it could be used as a scrying device... for a location..." she paused, "I'm not quite sure, Mother." handing it back to her, she waited for Alliene to hold her, or otherwise reply.

"I can imagine" Arlyth replied with a sigh, "I'm sorry I never knew her..." he hugged her again, and sighed, then his eyes widened "She taught Alliene how to wield a sword?" he seemed slightly shocked. Then he snuggled against her. "Mother... was always nice to me. Father... well, he wasn't like anything Tagnik showed me of him. He was always... stern, strict, responcible... almost as if there was some wieght on his shoulders. They both loved me though, and my brother... and then my brother was killed." he sighed, "I never had any other siblings... and I was alone. I grew up by myself... almost." he sighed, "Despite that, both mother and father gave me an excellent education, and taught me how to behave at court... and to ride and other stuff." the boy sighed. "I always hated being able to change into a draconic form... and now its gone. I feel like a part of me is missing, but I don't mourn it. I feel... much better. Happier. But... I feel like I've lost an edge as well." he sighed, then looked at Alae. "Would you... would you teach me how to wield a sword? The way you do? Father taught me a different style..."
