Zarn, the barbarian
Hailing from a ferocious tribe of warriors in the far northern lands, Zarn is far from ferocious. He was thrown out by his parents at the age of six, because he did not show any inclination to fight as all the children of his age of the tribe did.
The problem with Zarn was not that he had no inclination to fight, but at the slightest drop of blood he saw he almost fainted. He had a very bad case of blood phobia. A few members of the tribe had still agreed to train him and he had some pretty decent training when he finally left the tribe at the age of seventeen.
But then tragedy struck. One night, while he slept not far from a road, he was visited by a vampire. If being a blood-phobic barbarian had not been a curse enough, after that fateful night Zarn was a blood-phobic vampiric barbarian. He lusted for blood, but dreaded each and every moment that he needed to drink it.
