Anne stood up and walked over to Bas. She gently shook his shoulder to bring him from his meditation.

"Sorry to disturb you, but we have a problem."

Just then Tamora came back. Anne waved at her to get her attention. She pointed to the trees next to the river.

"Something or someone is in the trees at the edge of the clearing. We have to prepare for trouble during the night, I think."
