Money in Morrowind need not be a problem at all.
1. The simplest way of getting any amount of money is a plugin with a rich trader. (We need a rich trader because we will sell him an expensive item.) Get the daedric dagger from Vivec (even a level 1 character is able to do it), bribe the trader to 100 and start selling the dagger to him and buying it back. Every time you sell the dagger, haggle a higher price. Every time you buy it, haggle a lower price. Because you are selling and buying at the same price, you are getting money during every "cycle". Moreover, you are training your Mercantile skill.
The dagger is 10 000 gold. Even with Mercantile 5 and Personality 30, you can haggle 250 gold up when you sell and another 250 gold down when you buy. That's 500 gold during every "cycle". With Mercantile about 30, you will be able to get about 1500 gold during every "cycle". A bit of patience and your pockets are full
2. Without the plugin, the dagger cannot be used for generating money. It is too expensive. You can use Creeper for the same trick (if you buy at the same price as you sell there and if you can haggle with him; let's be frank, I've never used Creeper for generating money). You can sell and buy, for example, the Master Mortar and Pestle, which is available nearby

The Master Mortar and Pestle is 2400 gold, which is suitable for Creeper, who has 5000 gold. Well, your gain per "cycle" will be lower than the gain with a rich trader and the dagger. Moreover, Creeper will run out of money soon so that you will have to wait 24 hours, until he regains his 5000 gold. On the other hand, the Creeper method is completely "legitimate" and do not need any plugins.
